Trump Keeping Deportation Promise

CAL THOMAS COMMENTARY MAY 16, 2017

THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION IS MOVING AHEAD WITH ITS EXPEDICTED DEPORTATION OF PEOPLE IN THE U.S. ILLEGALLY.

A SECOND ROUND OF SOMALI NATIONALS WHOSE VISAS HAVE EXPIRED, OR WHO COULD NOT PRODUCE PAPERS PROVING THEY WERE IN THE COUNTRY LEGALLY ARE BEING RETURNED TO MOGIDISHU. A GROUP OF KENYANS HERE ILLEGALLY ARE ALSO BEING DEPORTED.

77 SOMALIS HAVE BEEN DEPORTED SO FAR THIS MONTH. NO ONE HAS A RIGHT TO COME TO AMERICA. NO ONE. THE PRESIDENT HAS SOLE AUTHORITY UNDER THE CONSTITUTION TO DETERMINE WHETHER ADMITTING CERTAIN PEOPLE IS A THREAT TO THE SECURITY OF THE UNITED STATES. THAT IS CURRENTLY BEING WORKED OUT IN THE COURTS.

PRESIDENT TRUMP’S FOCUS ON DEPORTING SOMALIS AND OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS IS THE MIRROR IMAGE OF THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION WHERE ONLY 170 SOMALIS WERE DEPORTED OVER HIS LAST TWO YEARS IN OFFICE.

ACCORDING TO BREITBART TEXAS, THESE SOMALIS WERE DEPORTED FOR COMMITTING CRIMES, OR HAVING THEIR ASYLUM REQUESTS DENIED.

THIS, TOO, IS IN KEEPING WITH THE PRESIDENT’S CAMPAIGN PROMISES. MORE NEED TO GO AND BE PREVENTED FROM COMING BACK AS TOO MANY HAVE DONE IN THE PAST.

         I’M CAL THOMAS IN WASHINGTON.
