I AM OFTEN ASKED HOW I SEE THE FUTURE. I RESPOND THAT WHILE I’M NOT A PROPHET, EVERYTHING IS RIGHT ON SCHEDULE. THAT MEANS THAT GOD REMAINS IN CONTROL.
RIOTS IN THE STREETS, TEARING DOWN STATUES, CAUSTIC REMARKS IN OUR POLITICS ARE A REMINDER OF THE CONSEQUENCES WHEN INDIVIDUALS AND NATIONS ABANDON GOD.
THERE ARE STILL A GOOD NUMBER OF SERIOUS BELIEVERS WHO FOLLOW CHRIST IN AMERICA, BUT A GROWING NUMBER, ESPECIALLY AMONG YOUNGER PEOPLE DO NOT.
ONE OF THE MOST FRIGHTENING VERSES IN SCRIPTURE IS ROMANS 1:24-27, WHICH EDITED SAYS – “So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires….as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.”
DID WE THINK WE COULD ESCAPE THE CONSEQUENCES OF THIS BEHAVIOR? I’M CAL THOMAS.
