CAL THOMAS COMMENTARY APRIL 22, 2024
THE SEARCH ENGINE GOOGLE HAS FIRED 28 EMPLOYEES WHO OCCUPIED OFFICES IN SEVERAL OF THE COMPANY’S HEADQUARTERS. THEY WERE PROTESTING THE COMPANY’S $1.2 BILLION CONTRACT TO PROVIDE THE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT AND MILITARY WITH CLOUD AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SERVICES.
GOOD FOR GOOGLE! WE NEED TO SEE MORE OF THIS. WHEN PEOPLE BLOCK STREETS AND BRIDGES, KEEPING OTHER PEOPLE FROM GETTING TO WORK ON TIME, OR OTHERWISE GOING ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS, THEY SHOULD BE ARRESTED AND PROSECUTED. IF THEY HAVE JOBS, EMPLOYERS SHOULD FIRE THEM. LET THEM PROTEST – LAWFULLY– ON THEIR OWN TIME. AND IF THEY ARE ON WELFARE AND BEING PAID TO DEMONSTRATE, THEY SHOULD BE DENIED GOVERNMENT CHECKS.
STUDENTS WHO MISS CLASSES TO CHANT MEANINGLESS “FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA” WHEN SOME CAN’T NAME THE RIVER OR THE SEA, SHOULD BE ARESTED IF THEY ARE VIOLATING THE LAW, OR EVEN EXPELLED. DOING NOTHING ALLOWS FOR MORE OF THIS OUTRAGEOUSN BEHAVIOR.
IT’S LONG PAST TIME TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST PEOPLE WHO MISUSE THEIR FREEDOMS TO DENY OTHERS THEIR FREEDOMS. FIRING JOB HOLDERS AND EXPELLING STUDENTS WILL SERVE AS A DETERANT AGAINST FUTURE MISBEHAVIOR.
I’M CAL THOMAS.
