IN DESCRIBING WHERE THE MODERN DEMOCRAT PARTY WANTS TO TAKE AMERICA, THE WASHINGTON POST, OF ALL PUBLICATIONS (I WON’T EVEN CALL IT A NEWSPAPER ANYMORE) – REFERRED TO IT AS A “FAR-LEFT” AGENDA. OCCASIONALLY THE POST WILL REFER TO SOMEONE AS A LIBERAL, BUT ONLY IN A GOOD WAY, BUT A “FAR-LEFT AGENDA” IS SOMETHING NEW FOR THEM. IF THE FAR LEFT WASHINGTON POST IS SAYING DEMOCRATS HAVE A FAR-LEFT AGENDA, DON’T YOU THINK WE OUGHT TO BE PAYING ATTENTION?
WHAT DOES THIS FAR-LEFT AGENDA INCLUDE? BEYOND RAISING TAXES WHEN GOVERNMENT ALREADY TAKES IN RECORD AMOUNTS, THE FAR-LEFT AGENDA INCLUDES PUNISHING THE SUCCESSFUL BY CONVERTING THEIR JOBS TO MAKING WINDMILLS AND SOLAR PANELS, A LOSS OF RELIGIOUS FREEDOM, CODDLING CHINA, OPEN BORDERS, BENEFITS FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS AND A LOT MORE. PLEASE READ THE 100 PAGE PLATFORM WRITTEN BY BERNIE SANDERS AND OTHERS ON THE FAR-LEFT.
IF THE FAR-LEFT WINS, THE REST OF US LOSE. IF YOU CARE ABOUT WHAT KIND OF COUNTRY YOU ARE GOING TO LIVE IN, NOT TO MENTION YOUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREM YOU HAD BETTER READ IT AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO READ IT, TOO. I’M CAL THOMAS.
Cal, I am 63 years old and have followed the Lord now for almost 45 years.
I skimmed through the DNC Platform. However, it does not at the beginning lay out guiding principles of the Party. I think THAT is where “the body is buried.” Otherwise, it sounds good enough to fool/attract many.
I would like to see the DNC say explicitly that they believe government is the first resort, not the last; that higher taxes are inevitable; that ultimately, a global government is its aim, etc. Of course they will not say that, but why not? The GOP clearly stands for individual responsibility with a safety net, and that capitalism has lifted people out of poverty and raised the standard of living for all. Is the DNC so duplicitous?
